Scotch Crunchies
Ingredients
- 1 6 oz bag chocolate chips 1 c
- 1 6 oz bag butterscotch chips 1 c
- 4 12 oz cashews
- 1 3 oz can chow mein noodles
- 3 ripe avocados
- 2 tomatoes
- 2 to 3 cloves garlic diced
- 3 green onions diced
- 6 leafy stems fresh cilantro chopped
- 1 to 2 jalapenos diced if you like it mild only 1
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
Directions
- On high heat place tomatoes and jalapenos directly on stovetop until slightly roasted
- Remove from heat
- Peel and slice Combine with avocados garlic onions cilantro garlic salt and pepper into a food processor
- On low speed blend ingredients until they appear blended into a lumpy texture not creamy
- I prefer to hand mix in a mocahete which adds just the right authentic flavor
- Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping on your favorite Mexican dish
