Scotch Shortbread

Ingredients

  • 1 c soft butter not oleo
  • 58 c sugar
  • 2 12 c sifted flour

Directions

  1. Mix butter and sugar together
  2. Stir in flour
  3. Mix thoroughly with hands
  4. Chill dough roll out 13 to 12-inch thick
  5. Cut into shapes with cookie cutters
  6. Place on ungreased cookie sheet Tops do not brown during baking nor the shape of cookies change Bake at 300 for 20 to 25 minutes
