Scotch Shortbread
Ingredients
- 12 c soft butter
- 12 c soft margarine
- 12 c plus 2 Tbsp sugar
- 2 12 c flour
Directions
- Mix together thoroughly the first 3 ingredients
- Sift in the flour mix thoroughly with hands
- Roll out to 13 to 12-inch thick
- Chill cut into finger size pieces
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet
- Prick with a fork press edges with fork
- Bake at 350 for 20 minutes
- Watch closely as they brown quickly
