Scotch Shortbread

Ingredients

  • 12 c soft butter
  • 12 c soft margarine
  • 12 c plus 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 2 12 c flour

Directions

  1. Mix together thoroughly the first 3 ingredients
  2. Sift in the flour mix thoroughly with hands
  3. Roll out to 13 to 12-inch thick
  4. Chill cut into finger size pieces
  5. Place on ungreased cookie sheet
  6. Prick with a fork press edges with fork
  7. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes
  8. Watch closely as they brown quickly
