Scotch Shortbread

Ingredients
- 1 c soft butter not oleo
- 58 c sugar
- 2 12 c sifted flour
Directions
- Mix butter and sugar together
- Stir in flour
- Mix thoroughly with hands
- Chill dough roll out 13 to 12-inch thick
- Cut into shapes with cookie cutters
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet Tops do not brown during baking nor the shape of cookies change Bake at 300 for 20 to 25 minutes
