Ingredients

• 1 c butter Judges 525
• 2 c sugar Jeremiah 620
• 2 Tbsp honey I Samuel 1425
• 6 eggs Jeremiah 1711
• 4 12 c flour I Kings 422
• 2 tsp baking powder Amos 45
• 1 tsp salt Leviticus 213
• 12 tsp each nutmeg allspice and cinnamon II Chronicles 99
• 12 c milk Judges 419
• 2 c raisins I Samuel 3012
• 2 c dried figs chopped Nahum 312
• 2 c almonds chopped Numbers 178

Directions

1. Cream butter sugar and
2. honey
3. Add
4. eggs
5. one
6. at
7. a time beating well after
8. each
9. Combine flour baking powder salt and spices
10. Blend
11. into
12. butter mixture alternately with milk
13. Stir in raisins figs and almonds
14. Bake in greased and floured 12-cup tube or Bundt pan

17. oven
18. for 40 to 50 minutes
19. Use toothpick to test for doneness
20. Cool 10 minutes and then invert on serving plate
