Seasoned Buttery Vegetables And Noodles
Ingredients
- 9 c 12 oz pkg extra wide egg noodles uncooked
- 13 c butter
- 2 c fresh broccoli florets
- 1 c green pepper strips
- 1 c sliced fresh mushrooms
- 12 c chopped fresh basil leaves or 1 Tbsp dried basil leaves
- 3 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp salt
- 14 tsp black pepper
Directions
- Cook pasta according to package directions and drain Meanwhile in large saucepan melt butter
- Add broccoli green pepper and mushrooms
- Cook just until tender
- Add hot pasta and remaining ingredients heat thoroughly stirring occasionally Sprinkle with cheese if desired
- Yields 6 to 8 servings
