Seven Minute Icing
Ingredients
- 1 12 c sugar
- 3 egg whites unbeaten
- 1 12 tsp vanilla flavoring
- 14 tsp salt
- 4 12 Tbsp water
Directions
- Combine ingredients and cook in double boiler beating constantly with hand mixer for 7 minutes
- Scrape bottom and sides constantly with spoon
- Icing should be smooth but stiff
- Will cover a layer cake generously
