Seven Minute Icing For Coconut Cake
Ingredients
- 5 Tbsp water 14 c
- 1 Tbsp corn syrup or Karo
- 1 12 c sugar
- 12 tsp cream of tartar
- 2 egg whites
- 1 tsp vanilla
Directions
- Mix all except flavoring well and place in top of double boiler
- Then place in boiling water
- Beat with electric beater or hand beat until it stands in a peak
- Add vanilla and spread
