Shahi Pilaf

Ingredients
- 4 c basmati rice
- 1 stick butter or clarified butter
- cinnamon stick crushed
- 2 bay leaves
- 6 pods cardamon
- 6 cloves
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp raisins
- 2 Tbsp pistachios
- 2 Tbsp almonds
Directions
- Wash the rice and set aside to drain
- Heat the butter in a nonstick pan
- Add cinnamon stick cardamon pods bay leaves and cloves and stir for 1 12 minutes
- Add salt and water 8 cups to rice then bring to boil stirring it a couple of times
- Reduce heat to low
- Add raisins almonds and pistachios
- Cook covered for 10 minutes
- Serve piping hot
