SharonS Gourmet Potato Casserole
Ingredients
- 6 Irish potatoes
- 1 c shredded mild Cheddar cheese
- 1 c shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 14 c real butter 2 Tbsp
- 12 c sweet milk
- 1 c sour cream
- 13 c chopped onion
- 1 tsp salt
- 14 tsp black pepper
Directions
- Cook potatoes cook whole in skin
- Cool thoroughly
- Shred potatoes coarsely
- Combine mild and sharp cheeses 14 cup butter and 12 cup sweet milk cook over low heat until cheeses melt
- Add sour cream onion salt and pepper
- Put shredded potatoes in 9 x 13-inch glass pan pour mixture over potatoes and dot with remaining butter
- Bake at 350 for 25 minutes until golden brown
- Serves 4 to 6
