Shenandoah Apple Cake
Ingredients
- 1 c cooking oil
- 2 c sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 14 tsp vanilla
- 2 c sifted flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 c diced and pared apples
- 1 c chopped walnuts
- 1 Tbsp flour
- 1 tsp baking soda

Directions
- Beat together oil sugar eggs and vanilla about 3 minutes Add sifted dry ingredients then stir in apples
- Combine walnuts and 1 tablespoon flour stir into batter
- Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan
- Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until cake tests done
- Cool in pan on rack
