SherryS Soft And Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 14 c sifted flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 c softened butter or shortening
• 34 c sugar
• 34 c firmly packed brown sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 12 tsp water
• 2 eggs
• 12 oz chocolate chips
• 1 c chopped nuts

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 375
2. Sift together flour baking soda and salt and set aside
3. Combine butter or shortening sugar brown sugar vanilla and water
4. Beat until creamy
5. Beat in eggs
6. Add flour mixture mix well
7. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts
8. Drop by well rounded teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet
9. Bake at 375 for 10 to 12 minutes
