Ingredients
- 1 c unsifted flour
- 12 c light brown sugar
- 14 c vegetable shortening
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 c boiling water
- 34 c light corn syrup
- 13 c dark molasses
- 9-inch pastry shell

- Prepare crumb topping by combining flour brown sugar and shortening in bowl until mixture resembles coarse meal
