Short-Cut Spinach Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ricotta cheese
  • 1 12 c shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 10 oz pkg frozen chopped spinach thawed and drained
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 34 tsp oregano
  • 2 15 12 oz jars spaghetti sauce
  • 8 oz lasagna noodles
  • 1 c water

Directions

  1. In a big bowl mix Ricotta 1 cup Mozzarella egg spinach salt and oregano
  2. Place 12 cup sauce in bottom of a greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan
  3. Top with one-third of the noodles
  4. Cover noodles with half the cheese mixture
  5. Repeat
  6. Top with remaining noodles
  7. Pour remaining sauce over top
  8. Sprinkle with remaining Mozzarella
  9. Pour water around edges of pan
  10. Cover with foil Bake at 350 for 1 hour
  11. Remove foil and bake 15 minutes more Let stand 15 minutes before cutting
  12. Serves 8 or more
