Shredded Beets With Horseradish And Sour Cream
Ingredients
- 23 c chopped onion
- 14 c butter or margarine
- 2 1 lb each cans julienne beets drained very dry
- 12 tsp salt
- 14 tsp dill weed
- pinch of pepper
- 12 c sour cream at room temperature
- 2 Tbsp bottled horseradish
Directions
- Brown onion lightly in butter in large saucepan 2 to 3 minutes
- Mix in beets horseradish salt dill weed and pepper Cover lower heat and cook 2 to 3 minutes
- Smooth in sour cream and bring just to serving temperature do not boil
