Shrimp And Ham Jambalaya
Ingredients
- 34 lb ham cubed
- 1 12 to 2 lb cooked and peeled shrimp
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 green pepper chopped
- 1 12 c long grain rice uncooked
- 1 can chicken broth
- 12 tsp garlic salt
- 1 bay leaf
- 12 tsp thyme
- 5 slices bacon
Directions
- Fry bacon remove from pan
- In same pan saute onion and pepper in the bacon grease until tender
- Add uncooked rice cook about 5 minutes stirring frequently
- Add chicken broth garlic salt thyme and bay leaf
- Cover and cook on low about 15 minutes Add shrimp and ham
- Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until rice is tender
