Shrimp With Garlic Butter
Ingredients
- 2 lb jumbo shrimp
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 34 c olive oil approximately
- juice of 12 lemon
- lemon wedges
- 1 Tbsp minced parsley
Directions
- Slit each shrimp down the back without removing the shell Flatten and place cut side up in a shallow broiler pan
- Sprinkle with the garlic and olive oil and put under a preheated broiler Broil 3 minutes then turn the shrimp
- Broil an additional 4 minutes or until the flesh is opaque and the shrimp are cooked through
- Transfer to a warmed platter
- Pour the cooking liquid over the shrimp and sprinkle with the parsley and lemon juice Garnish with lemon wedges
- Makes 4 servings
