Simply Elegant Steak And Rice

Ingredients
- 1 12 lb round steak or venison
- 1 12 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 large onions cut in 12-inch slices and separated into rings
- 1 4 oz can sliced mushrooms drained reserve liquid
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 12 tsp garlic salt
- 3 c cooked rice
Directions
- Cut steak or venison into thin strips
- Brown meat in a large skillet in oil using high heat
- Add onions and saute until tender and crisp
- Blend in soup and liquid from mushrooms
- Add garlic salt and pour over steak
- Reduce heat
- Cover and simmer for 1 hour or until steak is tender or cover and bake at 350 until tender
- Serve over rice
- Makes 6 servings
