Six-Week Refrigerator Bran Muffins

Ingredients

  • 6 c bran cereal
  • 2 c boiling water
  • 1 c Crisco oil
  • 3 c sugar
  • 4 eggs beaten
  • 1 qt buttermilk
  • 5 c plain flour
  • 5 tsp soda
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 c raisins

Directions

  1. In large bowl add 2 cups bran Crisco oil and raisins
  2. Pour boiling water over the mixture and let stand
  3. Mix remaining bran sugar eggs and buttermilk
  4. Sift flour soda and salt
  5. Combine cover and store in refrigerator
  6. May use as desired
