Skillet Cabbage
Ingredients
- 1 large head green cabbage
- 1 large bell pepper
- 4 small tomatoes or 1 can tomatoes drained
- salt and pepper to taste optional
- 1 large onion
- 4 stalks celery
- 3 slices bacon fried crisp optional
Directions
- Chop vegetables coarsely
- Heat large skillet or wok to medium-high setting using bacon drippings or two teaspoons of vegetable oil
- Pour all vegetables into skillet or wok and cover Cook 8 to 10 minutes only to heat vegetables and remove from heat while slightly crisp
- May top with crisp crumbled bacon
