Slap Me Down Corn Bread

Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 c Aunt Jemima self-rising corn meal mix
- 2 Tbsp sugar optional
- 1 12 c buttermilk
- 1 egg beaten
- 12 stick butter
Directions
- Heat oven to 425 Put vegetable oil in 10-inch skillet Heat in oven for 3 minutes tilt skillet to coat bottom evenly Combine corn meal melted butter sugar buttermilk and egg Mix well Pour into hot skillet bake 25 to 30 minutes
