Slavic Oven Stew

Ingredients
- 3 medium potatoes peeled and sliced
- 1 large onion sliced
- 1 large green pepper sliced
- 12 c uncooked rice
- margarine
- salt and pepper
- 1 can tomatoes
- 8 to 10 pork chops
- 1 small can tomato sauce
Directions
- Trim fat and bone from pork chops
- Layer first 7 ingredients in large baking dish in order given in recipe
- Arrange pork chops on top
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper and pour 1 small can tomato sauce over chops
- Bake in 450 oven 1 hour covered then in 375 oven 12 hour uncovered
- Serves 6 to 8
