Slovak Poppy Seed Or Nut Roll

Ingredients
- 12 lb butter
- 2 cakes yeast
- 1 c warm water
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 4 c flour
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tsp salt
Directions
- Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water
- Set aside to rise while preparing rest of pastry
- Sift flour and salt together cut in shortening as for pie dough
- Add yolks and blend and knead for about five minutes
- Divide dough into four pieces
- Roll each piece and spread with poppy seed or nut filling
- Roll up into roll
- Bake at 350 for 25 minutes
