Slovenian Cabbage And Noodles
Ingredients
- 1 lb wide egg noodles
- boiling salted water
- 12 to 1 c butter
- 1 medium yellow onion chopped
- 1 large head cabbage cored and chopped
- 1 12 to 2 c cooked ham diced or cubed
- salt and pepper
Directions
- Cook noodles in water drain thoroughly and set aside
- In large skillet melt 12 cup butter add onions and cook until tender
- Add cabbage cook until tender and light golden brown Add additional butter if onions and cabbage stick to skillet Add ham and mix thoroughly
- Stir in noodles and heat through Season with salt and pepper to taste
- Makes 6 servings
