Slow Cooked Baked Stew

Ingredients
- 2 lb lean beef round cut into bite size pieces
- 2 c chopped onion
- 2 c quartered potatoes
- 2 c carrot chunks
- 2 c large cut celery
- 1 8 oz can sliced mushrooms drained
- 12 tsp salt
- 12 tsp pepper
- 5 Tbsp tapioca
- 1 tsp sugar
- 3 c tomato juice
Directions
- Heat oven to 250
- Place meat onion potatoes carrots celery mushrooms salt pepper tapioca and sugar in roaster or Dutch oven
- Pour tomato juice over top
- Cover tightly
- Bake for 5 hours
- Serves 6
