Smoked Sausage And Apple-Kraut

Ingredients
- 1 lb smoked sausage
- 4 c sauerkraut rinsed and drained
- 2 Granny Smith apples grated
- 2 c apple juice
- 12 tsp dried thyme
Directions
- Mix sauerkraut apples and thyme in a Dutch oven
- Put the smoked sausage on top
- Poke the sausage several times with a fork
- Pour the apple juice in the Dutch oven Simmer in covered pan for 12 hour
- If there is too much liquid continue to simmer uncovered until the liquid is reduced
