Ingredients

  • 12 canned snails
  • 1 stick butter
  • 4 cloves garlic crushed
  • 14 c chopped parsley
  • 18 tsp oregano
  • 12 snail shells

Directions

  1. Rinse snails with cool water and drain
  2. Melt butter in frying pan and add
  3. garlic
  4. Saute
  5. lightly
  6. over
  7. medium-high heat
  8. Add snails and saute
  9. Remove
  10. from
  11. heat
  12. and
  13. place 1 snail in each shell
  14. Add the
  15. rest
  16. of the ingredients to pan and mix together Stuff some
  17. of the garlic mixture into each snail shell Sprinkle with a little bread crumbs if desired Bake at 400 for 30 minutes
