Snickerdoodles

Ingredients

• 1 c shortening or margarine
• 1 12 c sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 34 c sifted flour
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 14 tsp salt
• 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

1. Cream together shortening or margarine sugar and eggs until smooth
2. Sift together flour baking powder and salt and stir into the shorteningsugaregg mixture
3. Add vanilla
4. Roll into balls Then roll in brown sugar and cinnamon
5. Crisscross with fork Bake at 400 for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned
