Snowball Cake
Ingredients
- 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
- 4 Tbsp cold water
- 1 c boiling water
- 1 c sugar
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 No 2 can crushed pineapple
- 4 envelopes Dream Whip
- 1 large angel food cake
- 1 box shredded coconut
- large maraschino cherries chopped
Directions
- Soften gelatin in cold water add boiling water and stir until dissolved
- Add sugar lemon juice and pineapple including juice Chill until partially firm
- Whip 2 envelopes Dream Whip according to directions on box
- Fold into gelatin mix
- Cut or break cake in small pieces
- Arrange alternate layers of cake and gelatin mixture in pan until all is used
- Chill overnight
- Next morning prepare remaining 2 packages of Dream Whip
- Spread over cake
- Garnish with coconut and cherries
- Refrigerate until just before serving
