Soda Cracker Chocolate Candy

Ingredients

• 35 to 40 soda crackers
• 1 c butter or margarine
• 1 c packed brown sugar
• 1 12 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1 12 c chopped walnuts or pecans

Directions

1. Line a 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan with foil and coat with nonstick cooking spray
2. Place crackers in rows on foil
3. In a saucepan melt butter
4. Add the brown sugar and bring to a boil Boil for 3 minutes
5. Pour over crackers and spread until completely covered Bake at 350 for 5 minutes crackers will float Remove from the oven
6. Turn oven off Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over crackers
7. Return to oven until chocolate is melted about 3 to 5 minutes Remove from oven
8. Using a greased spatula press nuts into chocolate Cut into 1-inch squares while warm
9. Cool completely remove from foil
10. Yields approximately 5 dozen
