Soft Oatmeal Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 12 c flour
- 14 tsp salt
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 12 c shortening
- 1 c sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 12 c oats
- 23 c buttermilk
- 1 c raisins
Directions
- Sift dry ingredients
- Cream shortening then add sugar and egg
- Stir in one-half of the flour then the milk and then the remaining flour
- Stir in oats and raisins
- Drop onto lightly greased cookie sheet and bake 10 minutes at 400
