Soft Pretzels

Ingredients

  • 18 c hot water
  • 1 pkg active dry yeast
  • 1 12 c warm water
  • 13 c brown sugar
  • 5 c flour
  • 1 Tbsp baking soda
  • extra-coarse salt

Directions

  1. Mix hot water and yeast until dissolved
  2. Stir warm water and brown sugar
  3. Slowly add flour
  4. Mix until smooth
  5. Roll dough until smooth and 16-inches for each pretzel
  6. Twist into shape
