Soft Pretzels

Ingredients
- 34 c very warm water
- 1 pkg dry yeast
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 c bread flour
- regular flour
- 1 beaten egg with 1 Tbsp water
Directions
- Dissolve yeast in warm water in large mixing bowl
- Stir in sugar and salt until completely dissolved
- Beat in bread flour Gradually stir in regular flour until dough is no longer sticky Place dough on floured board
- Knead for at least 5 minutes or until smooth and elastic
- Round into a ball
- Let dough rise 10 minutes in a warm place
- Divide into 6 to 8 equal pieces Preheat oven to 450
- Roll each piece of dough into a 15 to 20-inch coil
- Shape it into a pretzel
- Salt one side of each pretzel and place them on a greased baking sheet
- Brush with beaten egg
- Bake 12 minutes at 450
