Sorghum Cake

Ingredients
- 2 c flour
- 1 12 tsp soda
- 14 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ginger
- 12 c shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1 c sorghum molasses
- 12 c hot water
Directions
- Sift dry ingredients together
- Cream shortening until light Add unbeaten eggs and beat until light and fluffy
- Add molasses and dry ingredients
- Beat until smooth
- Add hot water stirring briskly
- Turn into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350 for 30 to 40 minutes
