Sour Cream Apple Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 1 c sugar
  • 6 Tbsp all-purpose flour divided
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 14 tsp salt
  • 3 c chopped peeled cooking apples
  • 1 9-inch unbaked pie shell
  • 3 Tbsp margarine melted
  • 14 c packed brown sugar

Directions

  1. In a large bowl beat eggs and add sour cream
  2. Stir in sugar 2 tablespoons flour vanilla and salt mix well
  3. Stir in apples Pour in pie shell and bake at 375 for 15 minutes
  4. Meanwhile combine margarine brown sugar and remaining flour
  5. Sprinkle over top of pie
  6. Return to oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until filling is set cool
  7. Serve warm or cover and refrigerate
  8. Makes 8 servings
