Sour Cream Banana Cake
Ingredients
- 14 c shortening
- 1 12 c sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 c plain flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp soda
- 34 tsp salt
- 1 c sour cream
- 1 c mashed bananas
- 12 c chopped pecans
Directions
- Cream shortening and sugar
- Add eggs and vanilla blend thoroughly
- Combine flour baking powder soda and salt
- Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream ending with dry ingredients
- Add bananas and nuts mixing until just blended Bake in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan for 40 to 45 minutes
- Cool and frost
