Sour Cream Beef Stroganoff
Ingredients
- 1 12 lb round steak
- 12 lb butter
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 c sour cream
- 1 lb sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 large onion chopped
- 1 6 oz can tomato paste
- 18 tsp pepper
Directions
- Cut meat in thin strips trim excess fat
- Brown meat and mushrooms in butter
- Add onions combine soup and tomato paste Add seasonings
- Add this to meat mixture
- Cover and simmer for about 1 hour or until meat is tender
- Just before serving stir in sour cream and thicken gravy if desired
- Serve in ring of fluffy rice or over noodles
- Serves 8 to 10
