Sour Cream Biscuits

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour sifted
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 12 tsp soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 12 cup shortening
- 1 cup dairy sour cream
Directions
- Sift together dry ingredients
- Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse meal
- Add sour cream mix to form a soft dough
- Turn out on well floured surface and knead gently for about 20 seconds
- Roll dough to 12 inch thickness
- Cut with biscuit cutter dipped in flour and place on ungreased baking sheet
- Bake at 450 degrees for approximately 10 minutes
