Sour Cream Pound Cake

Ingredients
- 1 c butter
- 3 c sugar
- 1 c sour cream
- 3 c sifted cake flour
- 14 tsp baking soda
- 18 tsp salt
- 6 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
Directions
- Allow butter to soften at room temperature
- Sift cake flour and measure
- Add soda and salt to flour Sift three times
- Set aside
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy
- Add sour cream
- Add eggs one at a time beating well after each one Slowly add flour mixture
- Stir in vanilla
- Put batter into 10-inch tube pan sprayed with Bakers Joy
- Place in cold oven and bake at 300 for 1 12 hours
- As soon as cake is done run knife around edge and remove from pan
