Sour Cream Pound Cake
Ingredients
- 1 c butter
- 2 12 c sugar
- 3 oz cream cheese
- 6 eggs separated
- 3 c cake flour
- 14 tsp soda
- 1 8 oz sour cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp lemon extract
Directions
- Cream the butter and cream cheese
- Add sugar and mix well Add egg yolks one at a time
- Sift flour and soda together
- Add this alternately with sour cream to mixture first flour then cream cheese ending with flour
- Add extracts
- Beat egg whites until stiff
- Fold in with rubber spatula
- Grease and flour Bundt or tube pan
- Bake at 300 for 1 12 hours
