Sourdough BiscuitsPotato Starter

Ingredients

• 1 c sourdough starter
• 1 Tbsp shortening
• 1 tsp each salt sugar and soda
• 3 or 4 c flour

Directions

5. Make a well in the center add sourdough

7. Stir in salt soda and sugaradd shortening
8. Gradually
9. mix
10. in enough flour to make a stiff dough Pinch off dough for 1 biscuit at a time
11. Form a ball roll it in
12. melted shortening
13. Crowd the biscuits into a round 8-inch cake pan
14. allow to rise in a warm place for 30 minutes before baking
15. Bake at 425 until golden brown
