Ingredients

  • 1 c milk
  • 1 c flour

Directions

  1. Allow milk to stand in a warm place for 24 hours
  2. Using a wooden spoon stir in flour
  3. Allow to stand in a warm place until it forms bubbles and becomes very sour
  4. When ready place in a large loosely covered bowl and place in refrigerator
  5. Never use metal bowls or utensils when working with sourdough
