Southern Blackberry Cobbler

Ingredients
- 5 c blackberries fresh or frozen
- 34 c sugar
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- Dash of salt
- 2 Tbsp butter
- Pastry for 9 inch pie
- 1 Tbsp milk
- 1 Tbsp sugar
Directions
- Place berries in 9 inch square baking dish
- Combine sugar cornstarch and salt mixing wellSprinkle mixture over berries Dot with butter
- Roll out pastry to fit dish
- Place pastry over berries
- Brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar
- Bake at 425 for 30 minutes
- Makes 6-8 servings
