Southern Corn Bread

Ingredients
- 2 c White Lily self-rising corn meal
- 1-14 to 1-12 c milk
- 14 c vegetable oil
- 1 large egg lightly beaten
- 1 or 2 Tbsp sugar optional
Directions
- Preheat well greased 10-inch iron skillet in a 425 oven Blend all ingredients stirring until moistened
- Pour into preheated skillet
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes
- When done remove from oven and let sit for about 10 minutes then remove from skillet and serve
