Southern Pecan Pie

Ingredients
- 12 c sugar
- 14 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 Tbsp melted margarine
- 1 c dark corn syrup
- 1 Tbsp flour
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 12 c pecan halves
Directions
- Beat together the sugar corn syrup salt flour and eggs Add the vanilla margarine and pecan halves
- Pour into unbaked shell
- Turn rounded side of pecans up
- Bake in slow oven at 300 for 1 hour
- Cool before cutting
- Serve with ice cream or whipped cream if desired
