Southern Pie

Ingredients

• 1 c sugar
• 12 c butter
• 1 Tbsp vinegar
• 1 c chopped pecans
• 1 c raisins or dates
• 2 eggs separated
• 1 unbaked pie crust

Directions

1. Cream together the butter and sugar
2. Add egg yolks vinegar nuts and raisins
3. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites
4. Bake in an unbaked crust for 45 minutes in a moderate 350 oven
