Southern Style Punch Bowl Cake

Ingredients

  • yellow cake mix
  • 1 pkg vanilla instant pudding
  • 2 large cans crushed pineapple
  • 2 large cans cherry pie filling
  • bananas
  • 1 large Cool Whip
  • 2 c pecans more or less to taste

Directions

  1. First in an extra bowl that youll set aside slice bananas and pour juice from crushed pineapple over them and let them soak It helps keep the bananas from turning brown
  2. Make cake cool and crumble 12 in bottom of punch bowl
  3. Make instant pudding pour 12 over cake and spread one can of drained crushed pineapple over pudding
  4. Spread 1 can of cherries over pineapple
  5. Now layer with the bananas that have been soaking then spread Cool Whip over bananas
  6. Top with pecans
  7. Repeat cake pudding pineapple cherries bananas Cool Whip and top with pecans
  8. Keep in refrigerator overnight
