Southern Sweet Potato Pie

Ingredients

• 3 Tbsp all-purpose flour
• 1 23 c sugar
• 1 c mashed sweet potato
• 2 eggs
• 14 c light corn syrup
• 14 tsp ground nutmeg
• 12 c melted butter or oleo
• 34 c evaporated milk
• 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell

Directions

1. In a large mixing bowl combine the flour and sugar
2. Add potatoes eggs corn syrup nutmeg salt butter and evaporated milk
3. Beat well
4. Pour into pastry shell
5. Bake at 350 for 55 to 60 minutes
6. Yields 8 servings
