Southwest Beans

Ingredients
- 2 lb ground chuck
- 1 onion chopped
- 14 c salad oil
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 2 c navy beans or pinto cooked may use canned navy beans reserve juice
- 1 to 2 Tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin seed crushed
- 1 12 tsp salt
- 2 cloves garlic diced
- 8 oz tomato sauce
Directions
- Brown beef and onion in oil
- Stir in flour and add seasonings
- Add tomato sauce and 2 cups of the liquid the beans were cooked in
- Simmer about 45 minutes
- Add beans and simmer until flavors blend
