Spanish Cream Loaf

Ingredients

  • 2 c brown sugar
  • 2 c white sugar
  • 1 12 c sweet cream
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla
  • 12 c nut meats

Directions

  1. Boil sugars cream and butter until it will form soft ball in cold water
  2. Let stand until cool
  3. Beat until firm and creamy knead well
  4. Add vanilla and nuts
  5. Shape into loaves and roll in damp cloth
  6. Leave about 30 minutes in cool place
  7. Remove cloth and wrap in wax paper
