Spanish Pork Chops
Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 14 c sliced celery
- 14 c diced onion
- 1 15 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 23 c water
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 12 tsp basil
- 1 c uncooked rice
Directions
- In large skillet brown chops in hot oil
- Remove chops
- Add celery and onion and cook lightly about 3 minutes
- Drain fat Stir in remaining ingredients add chops
- Bring to a boil
- Lower heat
- Cover and simmer 30 minutes
