Spanish Rice With Ham
Ingredients
- 12 c chopped onion
- 12 c chopped green pepper
- 2 Tbsp margarine
- 1 1 lb canned ham cut into 12-inch cubes 3 c
- 1 14 12 oz can tomatoes cut up
- 1 12 oz can hot-style vegetable juice cocktail
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1 c quick cooking rice
Directions
- In a 3 quart saucepan cook onions and green peppers in margarine until vegetables are tender but not brown
- Stir in cooked

- tomatoes
- vegetable
- juice cocktail sugar and 14 cup water
- Bring to boil
- Remove from heat and stir
