Spareribs And Sauerkraut

Ingredients
- 3 lb. ribs
- 2 Tbsp. Crisco
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. hot water
- 2 lb. sauerkraut
Directions
- Brown ribs in shortening; add onion, salt, pepper and water. Cover and simmer for 1 hour over low heat.
- Add sauerkraut; cover and cook for 20 minutes.
