• 1 gal peeled large cucumbers
• 1 c lime
• ice cubes
• 1 Tbsp alum
• 1 c white vinegar
• 1 large bottle red food coloring
• 2 12 c water
• 2 12 c vinegar
• 8 c sugar
• 8 cinnamon sticks
• 2 6 oz bags cinnamon candy

Directions

1. Scoop center out of cucumbers Cut into 12-inch rings
2. Add lime and enough water to cover all the cukes
3. Let stand 24 hours in plastic container Drain and rinse well
4. Cover with ice cubes Let stand 3 hours
5. Drain well
